Shelby got her B.A. in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Salt Lake City, and has had almost a decade of experience in the industry on a range of platforms including hospitality, commercial, and residential design. She loves to pull design inspiration from natural surroundings as she loves the outdoors and the textures, colors, and emotions it can bring to a space. Shelby also has a hardcore case of wanderlust (she even has a tattoo to prove it!) and loves to use travel as a source of inspiration in her designs. She and her husband have a goal to leave the country at least once a year because she finds so much inspiration in world wide culture and loves to come back from a trip refreshed with a new perspective on life and all things design related.
One of Shelby’s favorite things about being a designer is building personal and long lasting collaborative relationships for all involved in projects (clients, vendors/reps, architects, contractors, co-workers etc.).
When Shelby’s not at work, you can find her adventuring with her husband, Austin, and their three dogs AKA Fur Babies – Axle, Bear & Ziggy. They enjoy anything outside including camping, hiking, biking, boating, and snowmobiling. Even their home life is an adventure, as they live in a cabin community above Park City at 8000 ft in elevation surrounded by dirt roads and wildlife.
