Mid-Century Modern designs are often characterized by the presence of angular structures; a clean, minimalistic aesthetic; an emphasis on bringing the outdoors in; and a vibrant, yet earthy color palette. Take a look at one of our favorite past projects to see how our designers updated these design trends with this fresh take on a Mid-Century Modern home.
The modern architecture and aesthetic of this home, combined with the geometric angles of the windows and ceilings inspired our designers to incorporate mid-century modern influences into the home.
This home’s stunning yet minimalistic kitchen is a reminder to us that ‘less is more’. Its clean countertop design and sleek cabinetry is striking from every angle. This kitchen beautifully redefines the minimalistic aesthetic of Mid-Century Modern design; replacing it with an elevated, and more luxurious alternative.
One of the crowning features of this home are the wide and expansive windows. Windowed hallways and large windows in each bedroom or bathroom brings the outdoors inside. These windows take advantage of Utah’s breathtaking landscape. Talk about a room with a view!
The Mid-Century Modern color palette is one of our favorites. Vibrant colors combined with earthy browns or grays creates an organic, yet luxe, feeling to any space. We love how our designers combined the wood paneling above the fireplace with accents of emerald green. For a more feminine take, our designers also paired natural grays with soft pinks.
We absolutely love this updated version of a Mid-Century Modern home. Using larger scaled furniture and upholstery in luxurious fabrics updated the nostalgic aesthetic of this influence, while still allowing our designers to infuse this project with other Mid-Century influences.
